MLM Traffic Formula 2.0 Will Re-Open On Thursday, August 20th

But only for 19 hours. If you missed the initial offering of this course, that took Mike Dillard from waiting tables to six-figures in 18 months, here's your chance to get it now. This is his complete blueprint to exactly duplicate what works to build a MLM organization today.

I highly recommend following Mike's lead if you are serious about making money with network marketing. It is not as easy as is implied when you are starting out and this really is must-know information that most MLM sponsors do not know how to teach.

Watch the video here for all of the details:

MLM Traffic Formula 2.0

So the window you're looking at here is 19 hours, from 7:00 AM to 2:00 AM Central.

My best,

Tracy

MLM and Article Marketing

Are you writing and submitting articles about your MLM product or service yet? Are you doing it by hand, one at a time? If so, you're going to love this new software. And if you're not doing article marketing because you hate writing then listen up:

You can have 100 unique articles ready to auto-post to the directories within seconds of writing just one (or re-working some plr, or outsourcing the writing to a freelancer for a few dollars).

You read that right. Write just one piece of say 300 to 500 words, and parlay that one-time effort into 100 (or often a lot more) unique pieces of content to post to article directories. And if you've shopped around for article spinners and realized they are all junk, you'll be please with this software. I can't explain the technology, but I have seen the output and the articles read well. You just need to make sure that what you start with is high quality (everyone's heard of GIGO by now, right? Garbage In, Garbage Out)

OK, so it'll write you a bunch of articles, but now you're telling me you don't want to sit for 12 hours to do the posting yourself? Then you really need to check this out, because not only does it re-work your writing, but it auto-posts to the directories for you. In a word: Sweet.

So if you're not yet using this powerful Internet marketing technique, for whatever reason, or if you're doing it the hard way, check out this system and you will probably change your mind today. It's that powerful and EASY.

Article marketing software

Oh and there's a special offer running right now. No not one of those bogus ones where they pretend the sale ends at midnight:-)

My Husband Went to a MLM Quixtar Meeting...

A friend mentioned yesterday that her husband had been to "one of those multi-level business MLM meetings." The company was Quixtar (which is Amway no matter how you slice it). She said "I told him no way! Those things are all scams."

So I piped up and gave her my opinion, which I had never actually spoken aloud to anyone until then. So I didn't really know just what I was about to say.

Based on my own personal experience, I told her how I really feel about network marketing these days. I told her that MLM isn't a scam, it's a legitimate business model, but it's not right for most people. Because most people burn through their warm market with the initial excitement, and then quit because most of their friends aren't interested in being entrepreneurs or sales people.

This means all the money spent up to that point is lost. Sure you get some good products, and might settle in as a customer (just what the company is hoping) but the income you were imagining never materializes. (I didn't bore her with the litany of companies I've been with, including Quixtar, and only spent money, never made much or nothing.)

I told her that though they make it sound easy at the meetings, it isn't easy in practice. I then told her that, based on his personality, her husband is probably among the small percentage of people who could do really well in MLM. Then I said that even so, I don't recommend it because to be one who is wildly successful, you often must bring in a lot of "sacrificial reps" along the way.

What do I mean by that? Well, I mean those charismatic, outgoing people who are able to persuade and charm people into joining, even though the likelihood of them succeeding too, is slim. And so you won't feel bad for them, you're taught by your upline that those who fail are just losers who won't "do what it takes" to make it and so deserve to fail.

I don't know if he will go ahead and take the plunge, either way is OK of course, but I felt compelled to tell my friend what I feel is the truth of MLM. Most people won't make the big money they entice you with at those meetings, and there's a lot more to it than meets the eye.

What do you think? I know there are some successful network marketers out there and maybe you're one of them. Or maybe you're new to all this. Either way, please leave a comment as this is an important topic. And keep it civil please.

Cash Flow a Problem as you build Your MLM Business?

Budgeting enough money to get your home business off the ground can be tricky.

Each time you turn around you seem to spend every dollar you have on advertising and find you're still not getting ahead in your business.

It basically will nickel and dime you to death.

You really can't get ahead in your business if you have to spend a ton on advertising, especially when you are first starting out.

Wouldn't it be nice if someone could show you basically step by step how you can build your home business without spending a ton of money while doing it?

Well, there is some good news.

I recently came across something that I think will really help your business as it has mine.

It is a videos series by a guy named Mike Dillard called "Building On A Budget".

In these videos Mike shows you how to build any home business for $500 or less.

I took these free videos and purchased his ridiculously low priced book, and within two weeks of applying the techniques he teaches and am now getting as many as 10 new qualified prospects per day.

The best part is that I did not spend much money while doing it.

Now I have the tools to grow my business without getting nickel and dimed to death.

You can get free access to these videos by going here...

Enjoy your new found wealth,

Get Cash Back When You Advertise Your MLM Business

I came across this system a few days ago and got involved today. It took me awhile to be sure I understood correctly that they pay me continually for a one-time purchase of $79 worth of advertising that I can use to promote any business I want to.

The program I joined is their $12k in 10 Weeks plan. I joined for $86.90 ($79 plus a 10% processing fee) and am now positioned in the Steel and Copper matrices. About now you are wondering what the heck I’m talking about so just click here and start the learning process for yourself: Advertisers Get Cash Back.

I assure you that once you “get” this, you will want in, too. Just sign-in as a free member and then you can surf around the back office. Go to the Member Support area and watch the videos there. The most important is the $12k in 10 Weeks one, but watching them all will get you up to speed quickly.

They have conference calls and training calls throughout the week, and I and my upline are here to help you with any questions.

This is a powerful program that will knock your socks off when it clicks for you, I promise. The gist of the $12 in 10 Weeks is getting two people signed up under you in your first week and helping them do the same. If it takes longer that’s ok, because you will still get there! How? Because the company is constantly advertising for you, and places people in your matrix for you if need be, so no one is left out. You get paid faster if you can bring 2 people in, but if not, you are still golden.

I don’t put my name behind very many things, and had to pick over this in detail before joining and promoting it here. Take a look. You will be pleased that you did. It’s a product that everyone marketing online needs -advertising that works - combined with an ingenious system that pays us all cash back for using the system. Faster if we promote it ourselves, too.

Check it out now: Advertisers Get Cash Back.
There are other levels you can join at, too. Higher and lower than the $79 I mention here.

Call anytime with questions: 1-888-617-0014 or 1-413-773-0779

This is the REAL Deal!

www.AdvertisersGetCashBack.com

For active marketers, you can generate HUGE Matching Bonuses and Fast Cycling because the system advertises for all members to help them push through the system. The more direct referrals you have, the more money you’ll make and the more advertising credits you’ll earn.

Better yet, for BIG Players, you’ll be able to participate in up to FIVE (5) Matrices that payout as much as $3,200 per cycle! Now, that’s REAL money.

Even free members can earn! When your direct referrals cycle you’ll earn a lucrative matching bonus, too!

The Secret to a High Traffic Blog

The secret is using a certain blog hosting platform currently in beta, that is about to be released to the public! Before they do, I have the chance to offer the system for you for the same low, Founding Member pricing that I enjoy.

The power of this system to take your business to the next level is worth 10 times what I pay, and the price is going up in less than two weeks to $49 a month! Still a steal, but why pay more?

Shortly after that it will be $67 a month, which tells you a bit about how powerful the system is. It basically automates all of the tedious search engine optimization necessary to get your business found by Google - the Holy Grail of marketing on the Internet:-) Plus a whole lot more!

Try it for 30 days for only $1 to lock-in the low price. After March 24th at 7PM Eastern, it goes up to $49, then $67, and ultimately higher as new features are added…

You can do everything with this system - upload pictures, video, audio, it will even auto-post your videos to YouTube, ISpace, Google Video - yes, automatically!

It will auto-post to 12 (more being added) Social Networking sites every time you post! These back links are vital to your high ranking on Google and other Search Engines, and it is all done the second you hit Publish!

What is it worth to you to have your perfect customer find you online?

Try it now because if you are serious about making money online, you never find a better deal than this. I used to rave about SiteBuildIt! and now this is my new all-time favorite means of getting found on the Internet.

Try it! Try it! You will LOVE it, I swear! And if you don’t for some reason then you are only out a buck!

Heath Ledger’s Death Accidental - Cause: Lethal FDA Approved Drug Interactions

The city medical examiner's spokeswoman said Heath Ledger died "as the result of acute intoxication by the combined effects" of the different drugs.

Spokeswoman Ellen Borakove said: "What you're looking at here is the cumulative effects of these medications together."

Ledger's father Kim said: "While no medications were taken in excess, we learned today the combination of doctor-prescribed drugs proved lethal for our boy."

Being that my home business is centered around helping people acquire alternative health products, and I have a website devoted to organic foods and avoiding toxic food additives and drugs, I have taken great interest in hearing what exactly it was that killed Heath Ledger.

Thank you, media for clearing Heath Ledger of the implication you started your coverage with - the assumption that he was just another drug abusing celebrity who ODed.

I was really POed at what I first heard about Heath Ledger's death. A few hours after he was found, the DJ on our local radio station said he died from an apparent overdose...making it sound like he was the typical celeb casualty of recreational drug abuse.

Turns out he suffered from, and was being prescribed drugs for, insomnia and depression. He was taking a plethora of FDA-approved prescription and over the counter (OCD) drugs, the combination of which killed him.

What you won't read almost anywhere else is that he was also a Diet Coke drinker, and why that matters. Diet Coke contains aspartame. No medical examiner (yet) would be looking for that FDA approved sweetener that has been established to change brain chemistry, and interact with anti-depressants. The phenylalanine in aspartame depletes serotonin triggering bipolar, suicidal tendencies, panic attacks, paranoia, hallucinations, schizophrenic, mood swings, insomnia, anxiety, etc.

So, Ledger took these prescription drugs in hopes of just getting some rest and feeling better. Unfortunately he (everyone?) was unaware of the toxicity of the combinations of all of these drugs, even when you don't take them all at the same time. And I am willing to bet he had no clue that drinking soda with aspartame was part of his problem. Most people believe it is safe because, well it is FDA approved after all, and the FDA would never approve the use of a toxic chemical in our food supply, right?? Ahem.

You know if he had some herbal remedies at his bedside, the media headlines would be screaming that dangerous non-FDA approved herbs led to his death. Instead it was prescription and OCD drugs, which caused his death, and the media are now playing it as though it was his own fault that taking these legal, FDA approved drugs in combination, killed him. Shame on us if we believe that for one second!

"We have concluded hat the manner of death is accident, resulting from the abuse of prescription medications," said the medical examiner.

Please! Would he have needed to "abuse" these prescription drugs if they had worked? Abuse has taken place, but it was not Heath Ledger that did the abusing. He was the victim because he was led to believe that prescription and OTC drugs would actually help him get better.

Put plainly, drugs suppress symptoms. Drugs do not and cannot, heal. The body heals itself, with, among other things, proper nutrition and avoidance of toxic foreign substances, like FDA approved drugs.

His was a tragic death that didn't have to occur. Heath Ledger didn't want to die, he just wanted to feel better. Ledger had a two year old daughter who now has to grow up without her father. This touches close to home for me, since my son just turned two, my daughter is five, so I know what he is missing. (not all roses, of course because my son pooped on the floor just a little while ago, and my daughter refuses to let me brush her snarly hair, lol!) But the good far outweighs the minor annoyances:-)

If you have any medical condition, an all-natural non-drug alternative to doctor prescribed pharmaceuticals is most-likely available. Look for a Naturopathic Doctor, a homeopath, a chiropractor, anyone without an MD after their name and get information on your alternatives.

Because every well-meaning MD out there has been trained to look at symptoms in order to prescribe some expensive, patented drug that relieves the symptom, without any attempt to understand the cause of the disease or discomfort.

Which means the underlying condition is still there, and taking the drug(s) exposes you to all kinds of possible side-effects that are potentially worse than the original symptom that sent you to the MD in the first place.

For Heath Ledger, that "side-effect" was death.

The good news for the rest of us is, there are alternatives to using prescription drugs when are sick or in pain. Most of them are not approved by the FDA. Not because they are dangerous but because no one can make millions of dollars patenting and marketing them.

There are years of science behind natural alternatives to alopathic medicine. And the public is beginning to wake up to the fact that death by doctor is one of leading causes of death in America today.

Health Ledger was obviously suffering physically and emotionally, and in a desperate attempt at relief, took one FDA approved drug too many. Or is it that he was prescribed one drug too many? Who is to blame when a person dies from taking drugs that their doctor has legally prescribed? Should the doctor know all possible interactions and list them for you? Should the patient be expected to know all the possible interactions??

We are taught that doctors are like gods. That they in their white coats and their medical degrees can do no wrong...It is not an easy thing to recover from, since it is ingrained since birth, practically. But the truth is that doctors are simply fallible people who get most of their information about drugs from pharmaceutical company reps...and they aren't biased now are they?

Heart wrenching stories like Heath Ledgers untimely and tragic death do one thing that is good: They help to save others from the same fate. It wakes people up to the fact that there are other options when they are in pain or sick.

If you are in pain or suffering, seek out non-drug solutions and keep in mind that something being FDA approved is not a guarantee of safety. Far from it.

My deepest sympathies go out to Heath Ledgers family, to Michelle Williams and his daughter. I cannot begin to imagine how they feel and I wish them peace.

Tracy

If all your retirement is in stocks, here is a great reason to start a home business now

Dow Industrials plunge 300 points

NEW YORK - Wall Street plunged again Thursday, extending an almost relentless downward spiral after problems at Countrywide Financial Corp. confirmed investors' fears that credit problems are spreading. The market shrugged off the Federal Reserve's injection of $17 billion into the banking system, and the Dow Jones industrial average fell more than 300 points.

Read the rest here.

I know many people who have their life savings in mostly stocks. This is not a good idea. For a relatively small investment, you can begin a home business, your own income producing asset, that grows based on your and your teams efforts, not at the whim of the markets.

Hope you didnt get walloped.

Be well,

Tracy

MLM Success Secret: Attraction

''If you work hard on your job, you could make a living. If you work hard on yourself, you could make a fortune.

Your income is primarily determined by your philosophy, not the economy.

Success is something you attract by becoming an attractive person. It's not something you pursue.''
~ Jim Rohn quotes

How to succeed in MLM?

Become and attractive person.

All else being equal, the one who has spent the energy and time getting to know what they desire, why they want it, and what inspires them, will be more attractive than 1 million who follow the time-worn and super embarassing 'ignorance on fire' approach to MLM.

What do you really want from your life? Know that and you will attract others who also know that about themselves.

You will begin to attract the people who, like you, know that MLM can make dreams come true, but only if you know what your dreams are. Those are the people you want in your organization.

Vague ideas that lots of money would be cool, don't cut it once the initial thrill has worn off.

Gahndi's words are apropos for so many situations, and fit quite nicely here: ''You must be the change you want to see in the world.''

You must be certain of what you want, and then certain that of all the ways to get it, MLM is the best vehicle for you. If it isn't, keep looking because it is not as easy as most people want you to believe.

Steer clear of anyone who tells you it's ''so easy anyone can do it''. But before you say no, ask them to please define easy:-) Then come back and tell us what they say. (In other words, post a comment).

All my best,
Tracy

MLM Breath of Fresh Air

I came across Kim Klaver awhile back, when I was still licking my wounds from a disasterous experience with old school MLM.

I thought anyone who called herself "Ms. Stud" was just another woman in man's clothing "getting 'er done" the old fashioned way.

I'm happy to say how wrong I was. And that I have become a raving fan of Kim Klaver and the work she is doing to improve the image of MLM and the success rate of women in the business.

And I hope you, sir, are paying attention, too. Why? Because as of this writing, 82% of new people joining MLM are women. Stop trying to make them ignore their intuition and instincts with the old school marketing tactics.

If you learn some new ways to communicate with women, you just might see your business stabilize and flourish. Might take a little longer though, and I know that's hard to hear.

Here's a snip from one of Kim's 2006 posts I just came across:

New School of Network Marketing by Kim Klaver: "How to talk to a woman": "I have always believed that starting a business of your own is a little like having a baby. While the boys may like the score, anyone in business knows that developing something long-term requires caring for it, nurturing it, and usually for years to come. Plus working with one or two others in the beginning, and sometimes for years, is a process that takes time.

There's much more to building a successful business than signing up or making that initial product purchase.

I believe that's why women are not as quick to say 'yes.' First we not like to be talked to and treated as a 'score' or something to be 'closed.' Second, many of us know that building up a viable long term business with regular customers requires caring and nurturing over several years, the first of which are the most important."

Who in MLM is telling reps these truths? Why are they not taught across the board? Could this be the reason most fail (95%) and why network marketing has such a bad name? Hmmm...

Stayed tuned by subscribing to my blog. See the form up there to the far right?

Happily Sticking with MLM, but Making Some Changes!

Well, I've decided that MLM is still the industry for me.

No matter what other home business I considered, knowing that if I stopped working the money stopped flowing, took the wind out of my sails:-)

So I am making a change of company, since I never sponsored even one person in my previous company. I began looking for a business that really thrilled me. There are many who say the product doesn't matter. It may not to some I'm sure. But to me it matters - a lot.

I recently found a new product that is being marketed via networking, and I realized something. Although I loved the product (nutritionals) in the company I am no longer representing, I was only involved in the opportunity for money.

I wasn't into convincing anyone that these products were the best available, that the business is second to none, "look at all the smart people who are involved", blah, blah, blah.

I have found over the years - erroneously or not, but my personal conclusion - that people are either health conscious or they aren't. And finding people who are health conscious and entrepreneurial, and willing/able to invest over $1000- $1500 just to get in position to possibly earn money...well, I wasn't able to convince myself this was in their best interest, let alone them!
As another more well-known Austin would say, "It's just not my bag, baby!" Carry around the wrong bag for too long, and all sorts of unpleasant things can start happening. Like financial insolvency and self-doubt...ugh!

The more time that passed with me spending more money, talking to more people, and still getting nowhere meant something had to change. I knew others who were having success with the business model. So I had to look at myself.

Should I feel bad and consider myself a failure? Should I believe that I haven't developed on a personal level enough to start seeing the success I desired? (as was inplied by upline week after week) Should I bash the industry and the company?

The answer was a simple one, and it's just that I was carrying the wrong bag. In other words, doing the wrong thing, for me. Could I have persevered and eventually started making money? I probably could have. But before I took that road, I stumbled upon some new companies, using updated compensation plans, and found myself excited about networking again.

I'm not writing about any particular company today. What I want to talk about is the evolution of the network marketing plan. What I found was that comp plans for newer companies are more streamlined, easy to understand, and far easier to start earning money using.

The company I was with is over 12 years old, and has one of the more modern comp plans that fosters cooperation from upline with all their downline. But not only are the new plans doing that, they also make it far easier to make a check, and begin creating small successes for yourself, that lead to whatever income level you're looking for.

So I came to the conclusion that I, a person who has been into personal development for 20+ years, am "good enough" to succeed in MLM;-)

So goodbye old, and hello new.

More on what I'm doing these days, next week after I've tied up some loose ends, so stayed tuned!

Where To Go from Here with My MLM Business?

Wow! Pregnancy sure took the wind out of my sails for awhile!

I'm just over 8 weeks now, and finally getting some energy and ambition back. I was surprised that I lost all interest in my business, my blog, pretty much everything that didn't have to do with sleeping or combating nausea, lol!

Anyway, I'm feeling better and looking for ways to generate more leads for my MLM business, on my own. One of my biggest expenses, that lead (sorry for the pun) to me having to uber-scale-down my prospecting, was the cost of leads.

I was spending way too much for leads that I was unable to convert to interested prospects, let alone new team members.

I have been pondering this for the past few weeks, as I was absolutely sure I had finally found the perfect business for me, based on my skills and abilities. I was very comfortable calling people, I felt I could learn what to say and tell the story of my business effectively, I loved the products, they worked, and the reputation of the company is impeccable.

But that wasn't enough. As week after week went by, then month after month, I still hadn't sponsored anyone.

My upline's response was, I hadn't called enough people. I have also heard this from Jim Rohn, on his CD "Building Your Network Marketing Business." In the beginning, it's a numbers game until you gain confidence which your prospects can sense and respond to. Who am I to argue with Jim Rohn??

Yet I knew I was calling as many as I could, based on my current life circumstances. Is there no hope for me then, I wonder?

I'm really not into making excuses. I'm often too independent for my own good, too. So I sat down to figure out what I was missing. I came to the conclusion, based on our team training calls, that I needed to use three-way calling. So that became my goal.

Still, I was unble to get my prospects to the point where they knew enough to bring them to my upline! People were not reading the messages I was sending (and paying $69 a month to be able to use/send, btw). Sometimes, the messages never made it through their spam filters, and I was faced with having to explain everything myself - totally removing the most attractive aspect of the business for me - using technology to leverage my time.

Even people I had talked to on the phone, seemingly connected with and who told me they would, didn't reveiw the material. What I heard more than once was, "to be honest, I really don't want to do network marketing".

And I even knew what to say to that, as we have discussed it many times on team calls! But it still wasn't convincing them to spend the time to revewi the information about the company I represent...

So ultimately I knew the painful truth: It was ME.

It wasn't MLM, it wasn't the cost, or the time to read a few emails or attend a conference call. It was something about me that was keeping these people firmly on the fence or saying NO to my offer.

That's the only sensible conclusion I can come to, based on months of hearing success stories of others on our team who are "making it", who are no more articulate, talented or gifted than me (not that I'm "all-that", but hopefully you get my point, lol!!!)

And I continued to hear, "make more calls, talk to more people, be more personal and less professional, connect with more people..."

In the meantime, I'd run out of money! Literally having about $200 left to invest in this business, I've pulled way back to figure out what to do now.

This is up to the minute, so future posts will be about where I'm going from here. Am I giving up? Am I going to find a way to move forward, with as little $$ as possible? Am I going to get out of MLM altogether, like so many before me, even though I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this business can and does change lives?

Stay tuned...

Misleading Marketing in MLM

Man the way some peopel approach mlm really bugs me!

A member on a discussion list I'm subscribed to told a story the other day. She has been job hunting, and she went to what she thought was an interview, only to find out it was a mlm prospecting meeting.

She was po'ed and I don't blame her. Then she wrote, "Surely I don't have to resort to that to make money!"

Sigh... yet another black eye for those of us working non-deceptively in mlm to deal with.

Staying Consistent in My MLM Home Business

The hardest part for me working my MLM business full-time from home, is staying consistent.

I find I want to work more than I am able to. For instance when I'd like to make phone calls my daughter suddenly needs my undivided attention.

I'm finding that being a stay at home mom and building a business, don't always compliment each other. I'm sure it's different for every mom, but I find it frustrating to hear over and over make more calls, talk to more people, connect more...

I don't get out that much and when I do, it's with an almost 3 year old in tow. So prospecting live, in my home town, is not a viable option for me. Making more calls is legitimate advice, yet it hasn't been working for me.

So as Jim Rohn says, paraphrasing here, "Don't talk about what you can't do, talk about what you will do if you can."

Here's what I know I can, and therefore will, do:

  • Buy leads online
  • Make the time to talk to at least 2 new people about my business every day
  • Make the time to follow up with 2 people each day
  • Read and/or listen to relevant motivational and MLM related information each day
  • Use my company's products and write my testimonial
  • Stay aware of my thoughts, and continue to refine my understanding of how our thoughts create our realities
  • Set clear goals and intentions for reaching them

There is a huge need for practical information for women who want to stay home with their children and build a network marketing business. Do I have to figure it all out and write that book myself? Or do you know of one you can recommend to me? Or maybe because every family is so different, that book can never be written...

Beware The Dream Stealers ~ Denis Waitley

Here's an excellent article from Denis Waitley about taking care when you ask for help and/or share your dream. Much better to get others talking about their dreams first, before sharing yours or your opportunity.

~~~Beware The Dream Stealers~~~
Although your own internal measurements are the most important, you will occasionally need to seek external feedback on your progress toward your goals. When you do, be sure it is from people who are truly interested in seeing you succeed. Don't seek feedback from fair-weather friends, competitive peers, or any person who doesn't have your best interests at heart. Neutral doesn't count. Get feedback from someone who is on your side but will still be objective and honest with you.
I've observed time and again that misery truly does love company. Jealousy creates some of the most miserable people I know. Surpass the achievements of your particular social crowd or your business colleagues, and look out for the slings and arrows of those who wish you were back where they are. You have to dodge the snide remarks and catty comments. Let them roll right off you. Don't internalize them. Only pay attention to feedback from those who have similar goals or who are working actively alongside you to achieve goals of their own.
Motives and fears run deep. Study them in others. The sympathetic fair-weather friend who supports you and comforts you when you're down, may like you best when you are in just that state: down and dependent.
Ultimately, nobody else is responsible for your life but you. Nobody else is accountable for your actions but you. Therefore, nobody's expectations for you and opinions about you are as important as your own. So make sure those take precedence in your mind over all others, and if you do need to consult with someone else, think very carefully before you choose exactly who.
Equally important, be prepared to sell your ideas to an indifferent world. As passionate as you are about your business and the fact that your products and services will have positive, life-changing benefits to everyone you meet, you are going to find resistance every time you tell your story. People are most interested in their own dreams and goals. They have difficulty believing that you have found a better way than they have to reach them. They are suspicious and guarded when anyone tries to sell them or change their minds.
Rather than have others steal your dreams by raining on them, ask questions and find out about their dreams before you launch into your sermon. People buy what they want first, then what they need. Find what turns them on. It may not be what turns you on. By helping others get what they want, you'll get what you want too!
